What is C|EH Master?

To earn the C|EH Master designation, you must demonstrate your mastery of ethical hacking through two crucial steps:

1. Successfully pass the Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) multiple- choice exam.

2. Complete the C|EH Practical Exam, an ANAB-accredited and US DoD 8140 approved hands-on exam.

About the C|EH Practical Exam

The C|EH Practical exam is a six-hour, hands-on test that challenges you to apply ethical hacking techniques to solve real-world security scenarios. You’ll tackle a variety of tasks such as threat vector identification, network scanning, vulnerability analysis, and system hacking across different environments. This exam isn't a simulation—it mirrors a real corporate network, using live virtual machines, networks, and applications. You’ll have limited time to solve the security audit challenge, testing your ability to uncover vulnerabilities across major operating systems, databases, and networks.

The exam includes 20 real-life scenarios that assess critical skills in areas like:

Web application hacking, including attacks like SQL injection, XSS, and more.

Network scanning to identify vulnerable systems.

System hacking, including malware, packet sniffing, and cryptography attacks.

OS detection, service enumeration, and user identification.

C|EH Practical Exam Credential Holders Are Proven To:

Understand and apply attack vectors.

Perform network scanning to detect live systems and vulnerabilities.

Conduct OS banner grabbing and user enumeration.

Execute system hacking, cover tracks, and use malware to exploit systems.

Identify and perform various web server and application attacks.
